I have been here two days in a row and i am stunned. The special menu goes above and beyond every time, this food is absolutely delicious I couldn't break eye contact with my sandwich today. Shoutout to the BBQ beef brisket, I love you brisket. I genuinely almost cried because this is the best lunchtime food I have ever tasted. If anything this is the best place in Bedford to get your lunch. Top tier food, top tier vibes, top tier staff. EDIT: I have now tried Roosters new special for the holidays! The festive sandwich. As always, I requested this toasted, and as always, the Roosters team were more than happy to oblige. Since I went so mad for the brisket, my coworkers even got me a Roosters gift card for my birthday! This added touch makes today's lunch just on another level ladies and gentlemen! I have had to attach a photo of this glorious christmassy explosion. The layering of the cranberry sauce to even out the turkey made my day, I especially liked the touch of the melted cheese along with sausage stuffing. Sausage stuffing is a favourite memory of mine going back to my childhood. I may have shed a tear over this sandwich, but it was worth the emotional toil of walking down the street, as now I am comfortably full and ready for my afternoon. What a gem this place is, the food is great but even better (which is difficult) is the service! The two servers we have had, have been absolutely amazing.... so positive! They clearly have pride in their trade and the kitchen reflects that.

A really good evening meal at Roosters. Food was great and so was the service all night. A cafe in the day and a restaurant in the evening, if your in Bedford I’d recommend going. The only small thing I would say is it’s a little cold next to the door especially what it’s cold outside, heating was on but a there was a strong draft was coming through.

Outstanding breakfast. We got the full English and it was so tasty. The sausage full of flavour, runny eggs and crispy bacon! Price was about 13-14 but the ingredients so good. Make sure you try the homemade hash brown. Incredible. Service polite and nice atmosphere. We will come back for sure.

Staff are so friendly and accommodating even when they are super busy. Delicious food and a great selection of different dishes. One of our favourite places to go for lunch in Bedford.

Absolutely fantastic evening meal on Saturday night. Great atmosphere and fantastic food and cocktails. Much nicer than our recent visits to Embankment, D’Parys and Park. Highly recommended - book before you come as its popular. Well done all !!! cannot wait for our next visit !!!

We took my Mother for her 83rd Birthday today. Great service and food, but also when we mentioned it was her Birthday, the staff, along with the customers, all sang Happy Birthday as they brought over her slice of cake which they had put a candle in too! And special thanks to the couple next to us who also bought Mum a slice of cake. Thank you for making it such a memorable day.

Growing up in Bedford, many know Roosters on the corner of St Cuthberts as an icon of our town. I finally made it inside to see what has kept it going all these years... and was not disappointed. I had a really tasty antipasti sandwich with a homemade minty-cucumber lemonade. Lovely space and great choice on the menu.
